From February 1 through March 1, the teen volunteer group at Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation (www.arf.net) is holding a coin drive at Walnut Acres and other local elementary schools called "Change a Life!"

The goal is to raise funds for ARF animal care programs. Coin collection boxes will be placed in the 3rd through 5th grade classrooms and in the school office. The school that raises the most money will have a cat named after the school and its adoption fee prepaid! AND, the class that raises the most money can win an ice cream sundae party, or a pizza party.

Also, we will collect towels for the ARF towel drive during this time, so please drop off your old towels in front of the school office.  Thank you!
